Shot in 2020 and completed in 2023, Good Night, Morning offers a quiet look into the life of a man caught between long absences and brief returns. Inspired by the director’s experiences in southern Iran, where oil and gas     industries dominate working life, the film follows a working-class man navigating the emotional fallout of distance—from his wife, his city, and perhaps himself. It was shaped by firsthand observations of men whose intense labor is matched only by their isolation when off duty.

Though modest in scale, the film reflects a world rarely portrayed—where exhaustion, masculinity, and invisibility quietly intersect.
